I like to design and build cool stuff. At Trex Enterprises I have had the opportunity to do just that and more. At Trex I am responsible for mechanical design of brackets, housings, and adjustable mounts for radios, optical systems, and other sensor packages. I often send parts out for 3rd-party CNC manufacturing but I also do rapid-prototyping and even some final production of parts in-house using a 3D-printer. I enjoy collaborating with electrical engineers and other scientists to assure that the electrical and mechanical integration process is a smooth one.As a project manager I work closely with the entire team of engineers and scientists to deliver a product that meets the customers expectations as well as my own. I enjoy leading a team; keeping everyone on track such that we are all working towards a common goal and a common vision.
