Work as an intern for the CBT to act as a volunteer with the St. Mary’s County Public Schools. Environmental educator for K-12 environmental field trips at the Elms Environmental Education Center. Teach programs for K-12 field trips with the county’s public schools, maintain trails on property, assist with grant writing, construct trail interpretive kiosks, represent Elms at various public events, and attend meetings related to environmental education policies in the state of Maryland.

Worked as an intern for the SCA and Americorps to promote conservation efforts and provide restoration in California’s desert wilderness areas. Led crews in the wilderness areas that comprise the High Desert of Southern California to complete polygon monitoring, fence constructing, and designated trail maintenance.

Easton, Maryland

Supported MRC’s mission of providing education, outreach, and restoration programs to promote environmental awareness and health of the waterways that comprise the Choptank River watershed and Eastern Chesapeake Bay. Participated in water quality monitoring, oyster reef and wetland restoration efforts, lawn fertilizer curtailment, and community engagement.
