Directs and manages the overall Supply Chain Management function at ATI Forged Products to include purchasing, raw material procurement, inventory and control of supplies and raw materials, production planning and traffic, travel, shipping and selection of suppliers and contractors. Makes recommendations to improve overall operations relative to production and quality. Develops policies, procedures, systems and programs to meet objectives and ensure continuous improvement in procurement production, inventory, shipping, and cribs. Coordinates and resolves issues related to customer product pertaining to production scheduling of raw material procurement and shipment, manage and supervise staff tasked with creating material requirement plans, schedules and/or forecasts; establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain and planning/forecasting; measure actual performance against goals on a monetary basis.1. Directs and manages assigned Commodity Buyers in procurement and inventory control of MRO supplies and contracting services and capital equipment/projects at lowest last cost, acceptable quality, on time delivery to support production operational needs and meet customer requirements. ２. Plan, develop, implement, and administer various cost saving programs to provide actual cash savings, i.e., annual contracts, purchase programs, surplus disposition, vendor stocking, extended payment terms, guaranteed price protection, etc. to ensure timely delivery of quality material and reduce inventory investment.３. Works in conjunction with the department to ensure continuity between planning and purchasing of raw materials. Responsible for managing and/or coordinating all sales of surplus assets and revert. 1. Reviews raw material purchase orders to ensure that incoming raw material meets the needs established and are utilized on a timely basis.2. Coordinates activities within ATI Forged Products-Cudahy Operations and suppliers to ensure continuity between planning and purchasing of raw material.3. Compiles and is responsible for inventory control and raw material purchasing functions. 4. Establishes procedures and supervises/ participates in external and internal audits of raw material inventory and raw material purchasing. 5. Compiles and interprets inventory planning and control-related statistics and data; presents conclusions and recommendations to department heads.6. Accountable for the execution of policies, procedures and activities related to the procurement and inventory control of maintenance, repair, and operating supplies (MRO), capital equipment and subcontracting services to meet the designated departmental, division and company goals and objectives in compliance with legal and ethical standards of Ladish Forging.1. Analyze, negotiate, and award annual contracts, individual purchase orders, and purchase programs for MRO supplies, subcontracting and capital equipment at competitive prices with qualified suppliers. Provide necessary support to insure continued compliance to ISO 9000:2000/AS9100A.2. Solicit and evaluate quotations for MRO supplies, subcontract work, and capital equipment to assist internal inquiries and projects.3. Take decisive procurement action in crisis situations having substantial monetary impact, i.e. machine breakdown, critical supplies / equipment / service requirements, etc. 4. Originate and implement cost saving measures to establish lowest end cost and acceptable quality on assigned commodities, services, methods, and procedures.5. Control inventory levels on assigned stock authorized commodities for minimum dollar investment, with sufficient support stock in compliance with company stocking policy. Resolve receiving/shipping discrepancies to assure accurate completion of transactions.6. Review requisitions and work with requestor as needed for quantity, specification, delivery required, etc., for order placement at approved source with lowest cost, acceptable quality and delivery.7. Develop and maintain existing and new vendors relationships to ensure safety program adherence, improve quality, service, pricing on existing products, locate new products for potential application, evaluate market conditions, and keep abreast of new methods/products. Visit vendor facilities to evaluate their potential, negotiate contract arrangements, and audit production capabilities.

Communicate daily with various departments, as required to exchange ideas, solve problems to meet customer requirements, plus contribute to and support the goals and objectives of the overall business plan.Expedite open orders to insure timely delivery.Prepare required reports, i.e., price, trip, market conditions – to inform Management of significant date, trends/forecasts, and pertinent changes.Negotiate and resolve suppliers’ claims in a fair, timely effective manner. Maintain pertinent data records for assigned commodities to aid in preparation of reports, negotiation of purchase programs/annual contracts and assessment of new products.
