Responsible for the overall planning, forecasting, daily operations, and quality control for 2 of the 6 production lines in the Brampton facility. The position requires 24/7 availability and the management of up to 40 employees across 4 shifts with a strong focus on safety. Strong attention to detail, organized record keeping, and interpersonal skills to all contribute to continuous improvement of the production line are essential for this position. Direct consultations with customers have been a large part of the long-term improvement plans for container specifications, both O-I’s as well as the customer’s production performance, and overall ongoing customer satisfaction.Since Q4 2020 I have been also acting as hiring manager, with focus on long term succession planning.

Toledo, Ohio Area

Collaborated with a team of project engineers in the Assurance on Quality Department to scientifically analyze products from all of O-I’s North America locations for new design approval or verification of the validity of customer complaints. The project engineers also traveled to all of these factories to train lab personnel, assist in sampling runs, and troubleshoot quality system equipment issues.
