In 2006, along with my friends Yuda Fukumi, Cary Reid and countless volunteers, we created a scholarship program called "Miyazaki 60" that provided funding for a Japanese student to study abroad. I organized a Guinness World Record breaking event to raise awareness for the scholarship and inspire Japanese students to see the value of cross-cultural education and foreign language.
