I co-chair the firm’s Natural Resources, Energy and Utilities Practice Group. My litigation and transactional practices focuses primarily on energy matters, including representing independent power producers and developers of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, biogas). I also represent large industrial customers of electricity in rate matters before the Arizona Corporation Commission, and appear regularly before the Arizona Power Plant and Line Siting Committee in matters involving the siting of new power plants and transmission lines. In addition to energy, I also represent clients in the areas of water and wastewater utility regulation, underground pipeline safety, railroad crossing safety and telecommunications.Prior to joining Fennemore Craig, I served as a policy advisor to a Corporation Commissioner from 2000-2002 where I focused on energy (restructuring, renewable portfolios and transmission reliability), water and telecommunications. I also served as an attorney in the Corporation Commission’s legal division.
