The project was designed and documented for bidding in a nine-month period. Completed - September 2016 Awards - Global Best Project, Government Buildings - Engineering News-Record (2017) ; Citation Award, Portland Chapter, American Institute of Architects.Chancery Rehabilitation and Seismic Upgrade, US Embassy, Wellington New Zealand - After the earthquakes in Christchurch, New Zealand devastated the city in 2011, seismically upgrading the Embassy in Wellington became a priority for the Department of State. The design included working with the occupants of the building and the client in Washington D.C. to establish a phasing program that would allow the Embassy to maintain diplomatic functions throughout construction.Scheduled Construction Completion - October 2019New Embassy Compound, Vientiane, Laos - Bridging documents for new Embassy campus including 8,200 square-meter chancery office building, utility building, two-story parking garage and three access control buildings.
