Responsible for the Fire and Life Safety systems inspection, maintenance, and monitoring across all 684 properties. Manage the routine inspection, certification, and day to day repairs on the elevator systems at all Extended Stay America locations. Oversee the First Response Program and it's vendors to ensure expeditious and cost effective remediation and mitigation of damaged assets across entire portfolio. Provide guidance on brand standards and reconstruction after large losses. Field train newly hired Regional Asset Managers in their respective markets.Responsible for the day to day Facilities Department management to include direction and support for the field based Regional Asset Managers.Create new facilities related procedures and programs starting from initial development and training to final execution and ongoing management.

Based Out Of Greater Chicago Area

Main responsibility is to maintain the asset/hotel in a first class well received condition from the time you drive up to the building and pass through the entry doors it is safe, clean, and well kept. Idnetify, troubleshoot, produce scopes of work, competitively bid, qualify, value engineer, award and oversee large CapEx maintenance and renovation activities at the hotels under their responsibility to maintain a safe and well kept asset inside and out. Collaborate with Operations, 3rd Party consultants, GC, Vendors, and others to provide support required to maintain the company’s assets/ physical structures. Managed an 81 hotel portfolio within the following regions:Chicago ILMilwaukee/Appleton/Madison WIIndianapolis/Ft Wayne/South Bend INSt. Johns CanadaColumbus/Toledo OHDetriot/Grand Rapids MI

Directed and managed the property operations of multiple properties to assure optimum performance and continual improvement in the five Key Result Areas (guest service, employees, sales/marketing, property appearance, and profit/financial control). Overseen, directed and managed Hotel Manager for each property to achieve profitability, guest satisfaction and efficiency while maintaining standards set by the company assuring 100% guest satisfaction.

Assured highest possible level of guest satisfaction by regularly performing duties that supported the efficient operation of the Housekeeping, Laundry, and Maintenance Department while ensuring the satisfactory appearance of the buildings exteriors, public areas and grounds. Primary support in providing housekeeping items for the Housekeepers and assisting Laundry and Maintenance, as needed.

Using industry standard computer software, collaberated with owner and customers on logo design/branding projects from sketch to final digital product.Produced designs for both silk screening/print and emboidery products.
