• Responsible for consistently improving the design standards of a 260 page quarterly publication while never missing a press deadline.• In charge of 100+ clients. This includes advertisement concept creation, layout design, photography, creative writing and efficient communication skills.• Design and produce marketing materials for three annual events including: website design, way-finding, signage, tickets, slideshows, postcard invitations, promotional materials, stickers, advertisements, digital billboards, and social media blasts.• Responsible for the design of editorial materials. This included magazine layouts, brand creation, hand-lettering, illustrations, special features and cover stories.• Responsible for photography: scheduling, photoshoots, editing and publishing. • The lead photographer for cover shoots. Took photography of homes ranging up to over 8,000 sq-ft. Photographed people, places, and products for editorial features.• Responsible for hiring and managing the art department, including training in photography techniques, direction and supervision in graphic design.• Helped grow the company in revenue, magazine page count and number of events.Worked closely with local and remote printing companies to achieve optimal results.
