Ensured proper service, prepared civil pleadings and motions, coordinated with opposing counsel, advocated at MDJ, MSJ, Pre-Trial, CMC, and Mediation hearings, and timely managed a litigation portfolio, working each case from inception through and to judicial disposition or settlement, all in a high-volume practice.

Under the supervision of the research psychiatrist Dr. Maria Pagano, researched, prepared, and wrote a $900,000 grant request, which will be used to fund a three-year longitudinal addiction recovery research program.Researched, wrote, and edited several drafts of the grant and a scholarly journal article, including a theory of social change, longitudinal cost-benefit analysis, downstream media dissemination plan, and methods/measures sections.On May 4, 2009, it was announced by Case Western Reserve University that the John Templeton Foundation awarded this grant to Dr. Pagano in the amount of $942,307.
