On June 4, 2004, Marv Heemeyer drove and armed and armored bulldozer through the small Colorado Rocky Mountain town of Granby, Colorado, destroying 13 buildings and causing $10 million in damage. Brower's book covers this event as no other writer can; he was there. Not only was his business destroyed, Brower covered the events leading up to the rampage and the story after, in which Heemeyer has become a folk hero for many.

The company provided public affairs, public relations and advertising and marketing services for clients in Grand County, located 80 miles northwest of Denver in the Colorado Rockies. Handled three successful political campaigns, helping clients raise $18 million in bond issues and defeated a recall effort and elected local government officials. Also writing a book, called "Killdozer," a nonfiction account of the bulldozer rampage in Granby, Colorado.
