After 22 fun packed years I stepped back from McLH at the end of 2022. It’s been an epic time with the finance team adapting to huge growth in the wider group and at McLaughlin & Harvey. From 3 group companies in 2001 generating £83m to over a dozen companies in 2022 generating well over £500m. But all good things must come to an end and Dec 22 feels the right time to move on and follow other adventures.I am incredibly blessed to retire from the day to day hustle and bustle at this stage in my life. I have a series of other adventures in mind for now, but my energy levels remain high & I suspect it’s likely that I will return to the workplace in some capacity at some stage. Who knows what this will look like or when? Time will tell. But for now, it’s time to explore the bucket list and follow other adventures.
