CurrentI am a fractional/outsourced CFO for multiple companies. I do all of my own work - no employees or staff that work is farmed out to. My engagements can last weeks, months or years depending on need. Some clients hire me multiple days a week, while others may only need a certain amount of help on a monthly basis. Ideal fit is a small-to-medium size company that may have a bookkeeper on staff to perform day-to-day transactional responsibilities but could use someone to perform more high-level tasks such as monthly financial preparation, budgets-to-actual, cash flow forecasting, corporate taxes, and assistance with items such as employee benefits, 401k plans, and corporate insurance. I have also been the lead financial representative for companies on five merger and acquisitions of various sizes.No long-term contracts needed and because I am an independent contractor (paid via 1099), there are no payroll taxes or other benefit costs such as medical, 401k, etc. associated with my pay. Some clients have me come on-site for work performed while others have me perform duties remotely - open to either.
