Key experiences gained within the role:- Management experience chairing a subcommittee of the Trainee Committee- Project Management of projects being run as part of the committee- Co-designing and updating a mandatory, national course on Wellbeing for BST (Basic Specialist Training) Trainees: ‘Thriving in BST’ - Accredited Faculty on the Thriving in BST program- Updating RCPI Trainee Handbook of Wellbeing Resources- Creation of the Arthur Eakins Award with the FOM, a National Award for Workplace Wellbeing as part of the RCPI National Trainee Education Day, with the specific aim of promoting Trainee Wellbeing- Creation of a Wellbeing Module for Doctors commencing their HST (Higher Specialist Training)- Piloting the Peer-to-Peer Program for Trainees in the RCPI

Roles held:- HSE Dr Steevens Hospital covering CHO 6&7, Naas and St Columcilles’ Hospital- HSE Sligo covering SUH, LUH and CHO 1- Corporate Health Ireland (CHI) Dublin covering a range of industries including pharmaceutical, healthcare, blue light frontline workers, finance, distribution & retail- An Garda Siochana covering both civilian and sworn members of An Garda Siochana Experience gained in:- Fitness for Work Assessments, including assessment for safety critical roles- Pre-employment Medicals- Health Promotion- Policy Creation- Health Surveillance- Biological Monitoring- Medical Driving Assessment for Group 1, Group 2 and blue light driving- CIP Assessment
