Data Center Operations technician currently working for AWS in Boardman Oregon.I am seeking to leverage my education and experience as a data center professional to help improve data center and cloud infrastructure as these facilities and services are essential for business, educational and healthcare operations.I'm currently a technician, but after spending just over a decade in this role, I am interested in new data center design and leveraging traditional onsite 'in-house' data centers with cloud providers when it best suits the interest and needs of the customer. My goal is to eventually design, audit and improve these critical pieces of information infrastructure as their importance to modern society is essential.The ever growing demand for more power and cooling has me interested into investigating and developing ways to optimize these facilities to save on energy and cooling expenses.
