Currently I work in Commercial and Operations as a Digital Platform Specialist. My role involves specialising in the e-commerce CSM platforms Sitecore and Magento 2 to develop website content for Dyson on a global scale. This role relies on managing relationships with various stakeholders throughout the delivery of the digital NPDs and campaigns. Building on pre-existing skills I became a focal point for digital experience and markets as an expert in my field. As a digital platform specialist, I must be a good communicator, engaging and confident to present my platform builds to the Dyson digital experience team. Additionally, my role involves managing NPDs and Campaigns with Hogarth Worldwide - a third party - who assist with the platform builds. This includes hosting tutorial sessions as well as managing tasks using Jira to ensure deadlines are met effectively.

Whilst working at Dyson I have worked in two roles as a content administrator. The first involved being the sole content admin for the M2 rollout of the Vietnam and Romania websites. Over this time, I worked alongside a project manager with the SEA and European digital team to ensure all the Magento 2 content was up to Dyson standard. have also worked in the Owner Experience team. Here I have developed skills several ‘hard’ skills (AEM, MJML (emails), Sitecore and Resolve, but I also gained a good understanding of Dyson’s approach to owner experience – a sector of Dyson’s commercial plan which is set to become of high focus over the next few years.

During my breaks from studying at Cardiff University I gained valuable experience working at a pharmaceutical manufacturer and distributor. During my time at Bath ASU, my role within the cancer drug manufacturing corporation varied including liaising with customer services and purchasing departments. Whilst I contributed to the company’s digital marketing operations, I also managed the communication between the company and clients regarding invoices, and completed a range of routine administration tasks to meet operational and customer service requirements.
