Tomorrowland, a Japanese fashion powerhouse founded in 1978, opened its first international flagship location in Soho, New York in the fall of 2015. I joined the company during the store’s first year and focused on reimagining customer relations strategies and improving localized marketing initiatives. Under my leadership, our team developed an online store optimized to serve the U.S. market. We strengthened our social media presence and rebuilt our email marketing program. I am proud to have contributed to the brand’s growth by recruiting a strong team, raising customer service standards, and streamlining store operations.

American cult-favorite Trademark opened their stunning Soho retail space in 2014 to the critical acclaim of downtown fashion aficionados. As a brand known for their singular aesthetic vision, I was tasked with ensuring the highest standards of presentation. I implemented visual merchandising directives and maintained excellence in the store’s appearance and atmosphere. I trained and supervised sales staff and created clienteling procedures from the ground up. I managed all e-commerce customer communication as well as the fulfillment of online orders. Additionally, I assisted the Store Manager in overseeing inventory logistics and other store operations.

American heritage brand J. Press was founded in 1902 on the campus of Yale University. Known for over a century as the pioneer of collegiate prep style, the brand launched its sublabel York Street in 2013 to attract a younger generation of customers. As Store Manager of their West Village outpost, I oversaw all visual merchandising and store displays. I produced York Street branded social media content and directed in-store events. I implemented new customer relations protocols designed to raise standards of customer service, both in-store and online. Additionally, I managed the fulfillment of e-commerce orders, inventory logistics and all standard store operations.

I began working with French fashion house A.P.C. from 2006-2008 while studying at The Cooper Union. When I returned to the company in 2011, I assumed the role of Assistant Manager of their Mercer Street flagship, before heading the newly opened A.P.C. Surplus in the West Village. During a period of rapid expansion, I helped to scale the brand’s customer service standards while preserving its reputation among New York’s downtown creative community. I was responsible for achieving monthly sales goals by recruiting and motivating sales staff, managing customer relations, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and handling inventory logistics and standard store operations.

In my role as Room Service Manager at The Standard, High Line, I was responsible for leading the highest volume shift of a 24-hour service cycle. I managed a team of skilled baristas and runners to field phone orders, deliver meals, and prepare specialty coffee every morning for nearly 350 rooms. I enforced compliance with health codes and upheld customer service and food & beverage quality standards. I managed customer relations with high profile guests, exercising discretion and ensuring VIP satisfaction and loyalty.
