In the absence of real-time productivity information, I developed an Excel-based tool that easily measures daily, pay period, and monthly hours per unit of service.-- FTE's at the hospital have since fallen nearly 8%3. Analyze net patient revenue by insurer type and service line; meet with our revenue cycle team, as well as internal and outsourced collections team, to monitor and improve patient collection rates.
