As Director of Digital Agronomy at Nutrien, I am responsible for managing a team that provides the basis for the agronomic innovation and industry relevance of Nutrien Ag Solutions digital agronomy products. We work with Nutrien agronomy and computational science teams to surface agronomic insights delivered via Nutrien sales agronomists. We foster partnerships with input manufactures, agronomic decision support systems, data providers, equipment manufactures, and many more to facilitate and deliver cross industry digital solutions. Our goal: to develop industry leading solutions leveraging the best data in the market to accurately recommend agronomic programs, which ultimately maximize grower sustainability and profitability. About Nutrien Ag Solutions: established in 2018, but predecessor companies began operating as early as 1859. A lot has changed since then. Advancements in technology allow for more effective growing methods while minimizing environmental impacts. Over the past +20 years I have been fortunate to work growers, ag retail, consultants, input manufactures, equipment companies, food processors and standards organizations, each having various definitions of what it takes to be successful in agriculture. My roots in ag started at Sanders Farms in Central Illinois, which drives my ultimate goal of maximizing grower sustainability and profitably. I hold a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Technical Systems Management. In my personal time, I enjoy getting outside with my family and friends.
