Owner/Partner and Operator of Tranquility Sands Hospice which is owned by four former ICU nurses.

Team leader in of all code blues and rapid response calls throughout hospital units.Assist physicians in Rapid Intubations throughout hospital.Assist physicians in special procedures like EVD placements, sedation , ablations, and transportation of critical patients.Assists hospital units in rounding and recognizing high risk patients.Educating unit nurses on emergency interventions.

Supervision of four units plus ICU overflow units; Trauma, Cardiac, Neuroscience,and Medical Surgical.coordinates staff to assure that effective nursing services are provided, and quality standards are met. Staffingconsists of Registered Nurses, Medical Clerks, PSAs and other healthcare providers as needed. A multidisciplinaryteam approach to care is utilized.payroll, schedule, employee counseling, interviewing, Education, and evaluations.

Use of my advanced nursing skills on specialized care of patients whose conditions are life-threatening ,unstable, and who require comprehensive care and constant monitoring; stroke code patients, Post cardiac arrest and code blue patients,major trauma patients, high risk surgical patients which includes trauma , open heart, and brain surgery. Active participant during magnet status achievement process.Preceptor for new grads, experience nurses, and nursing students.

-In charge daily clinical operations while ensuring effective operations or nursing and support staff.-Evaluation of nurses and support staff to ensure quality health services are provide in an efficient and fiscally responsible manner.-Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, establish in services programs, and assist in policy and procedures.-manages payroll, scheduling, staffing, evaluations, counseling and education, concerns, & audits.

-Charge of LVNs and CNAs in longterm skill nursing facility.-Assessment, admission, discharge, treatment, medication administration.-Staff development and Education.
