The past three seasons, my teams have gone 80-14-2 while winning back-to-back undefeated conference championships, back-to-back 2A regional championships in 2012/2013, having seven players named to the All-State team. In 2013, we were undefeated going into the sectional final (31-0) losing to the defending state champions who went on to finish third. In 2014 had three seniors sign NLI's to play collegiate softball at the University of Memphis and the University of Tennessee at Martin. ► Only two 2A Regional Softball Championships in school history► Berth in Sectional Championship Game► Repeat undefeated Conference Championships ► Most Wins in a Single Season and Undefeated at Home (New School Record)► Eleven Players Chosen to All-Conference Team and seven players Chosen to All-State TeamI attribute the following initiatives to the team’s success:► Raising the team’s batting average from .242 in 2008 (with no player above .300) to .398 in 2013 (with one player reaching .517).► Revitalizing the players’ confidence and teaching them to approach every game expecting to win.► Building enthusiasm, interest, and support for the softball program, which allowed me to attract new players and strengthen the roster. ► Introducing an off-season workout program, which not only increased the players’ speed, quickness, and agility, but also made players more mentally prepared for early-season games.In addition, I am a Special Education Collaborative Teacher / Cross-Categorical Resource Teacher responsible for preparing lectures, lessons, activities, and class materials.

Concurrent with my softball coaching duties, I support the Head Basketball Coach through keeping the score book, managing stats, preparing for games, scouting the competition, and evaluating student-athlete game performance.

I served as the Head Softball Coach for the Lambda Chi Alpha and Alpha Gamma Delta intramural teams, and I led the Lambda Chi Alpha team to achieve a 39-4 record and 3 consecutive league and tournament titles.

As a paid umpire and referee for fraternity, sorority, and independent league softball, flag football, and basketball games, I ensured all contests were officiated fairly. I contributed to the university newspaper by authoring a weekly columns covering university and local sports highlights.

As the Assistant Head Coach for the JV and varsity basketball teams, my primary duties involved assisting in preparing for games and co-creating detailed scouting reports on local and regional opponents. These scouting reports included information on team and player tendencies, as well as offensive and defensive strategies.
