Datacentre experience in Microsoft Grange Castle.Installing the infrastructure cabling for IDF rooms and in the Colos, my position with HPe was to assist Microsoft staff building MORs and installing devices to get rows of racks connected to the network. We then assisted with the rack deployments patching all copper and fibre optic connections once the racks were placed in their locations and powered up. We assisted with any issues once configuration was complete.

My main role in the Operations Team was Rostering and the management of 80 drivers. Drivers would always have issues during loading stages and when on the road so the operations team were available to assist and ensure that the drivers met their daily targets completing their trip sheets.We had two shifts, the morning shift was to ensure the drivers got on the road in an efficient manner, the evening shift was to ensure the drivers got back to base safe with all items delivered/collected.We looked after daily service level reports etc.A good place to work and a massive influence on the experience I have gained from working in this company. I worked a night shift in Coca-Cola for just over a year. I worked on a Zambelli case wrapping machine casing 24 pack contour (500m), 1 litre, 1.5 litre and 2 litre bottles of Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Fanta and Sprite.I assisted in the smooth changeover of different sized bottles and adjusted the machine for different packing configurations.
