I wrote and pitched stories from a variety of different genres including news and feature stories. In addition, I edited opinion columns submitted to me from the general community at Saint Michael's. I recently was the recipient of the Haven Quinn Award for Best Defender Story for a news article I wrote in the fall semester of 2012.

I raised awareness on the dangers of high-volume horizontal hydraulic-fracturing through door-to-door canvassing and fundraising. I also raised awareness on various other subjects that are of relevance to the community of New York State including tuition hikes, government reform, and the safety of consumers.
