As part of original recruited leadership team for Mass Mutual Greater Phoenix, my role was to assist in the recruitment, training and development of new advisors for the Agency, develop and implement training curriculum based on insurance industry tools, concepts and technologies. All efforts and areas of focus were for the purpose of driving agency-wide sales. After 10 years in the career agency model/system, I chose to move to the "Independent model" as part of a commitment to my clients that I would always research and offer the best solutions and to be able to do so without insurance carrier conflicts.

Recruited by Mutual of Omaha as Sales Manager at the Phoenix Division Office. The primary focus and responsibilities were to recruit, train, mentor and develop new Agents for the agency using the Harry Hoopis System of "Firm Foundations." Our Agency was part of a "pilot program" being developed by the Mutual of Omaha home office leadership. The successful program placed importance on the four-interview process for warm leads recruiting. The role was a tremendous opportunity to connect with new advisors, uncover their personal values and beliefs around their careers, work with them jointly as they presented to their clients, and to hold them accountable for their sales results.

As a Metlife Resources Financial Services Representative and Registered Representative, my role was to work directly with MetLife insurance and investment clients who were employees of medium and large employer groups of the MetLife group benefits portfolio. With two medium groups in Phoenix area, along with one large employer group (12,000 employees), I conducted monthly/quarterly employee-based consultations, managed life insurance and investment clients who were changing their employment status. My passion for educating clients and empowering them to make decisions about their financial futures was consistently the most rewarding responsibility of my role.As MetLife continued to morph away from the great career agent-based model it was, I was recruited to leave MetLife and take a more formal role in the guidance and mentoring of new advisors.

As Financial Services Representative, Registered Representative, my role was to develop client relationships, provide education and consultation to insurance investment clients and to meet/exceed the goals and objectives for my personal production within the MetLife Boca Raton agency. I was awarded the SuperStarter designation and Leaders Conference Qualifier in my first full year within the industry. I also qualified for MDRT. As part of the "To Producer Symposium" project, I was selected for a MetLife pilot program developed by the Joe Jordan Field Marketing team. The project and participation propelled my career quickly within the MetLife career agency model. After our first and only child was born, we chose as a family to remain within the MetLife organization, but chose to do so within a different sales division and geography. I relocated to the MetLife offices in Scottsdale, Arizona.

World Trade Center Palm Beach, a 501(c)6 economic development organization focused on assisting companies and local governments to identify and compete for international trade opportunities in foreign markets.As Vice President, I was responsible for business development, membership, inbound and outbound international trade delegations, and the local stakeholder relationships. I regularly spoke at US Department of Commerce events, county and municipal government educational functions. Worked closely with Port Authorities of Palm Beach, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale. Lead trade delegations to Montreal, Sao Paulo Brazil, and Argentina.

World Trade Center St. Louis, a 501(c)6 economic development organization was part of St. Louis County Economic Council. We focused on assisting companies and local governments to identify and compete for international trade opportunities in foreign markets.As Director of Sales and Business Development, I was responsible for development of new business research project services and corporate memberships. I regularly spoke at US Department of Commerce events, county and municipal government educational functions. Worked closely with Port Authorities, Universities within the two-state area of Missouri and Illinois. Organized and lead trade delegations to Bejing, China and Cordova, Argentina and Sao Paulo, Brasil.
