Public Safety software implementation and support specialist

GIS administrator helping to maintain and update Kanawha County's addressing and emergency 911 spatial data, as well as managing the databases and servers of the GIS department. I also assist with IT and CAD (computer-aided dispatch) related support.

Served mainly as a field technician collecting recreational trails data, throughout the state, via GPS. I consolidated the 2010 U.S. Census spatial and tabular datasets, and I helped integrate the data into the organization's public download website. I also assisted with various data manipulation and mapmaking tasks to increase my skills and experience in the field of GIS.
