In my job as Operations Manager at TForce Logistics, my main goal is to make sure things run smoothly, the business makes money, and our customers are happy. Part of my work involves overseeing our daily operations and our team of drivers and warehouse workers. I make sure they follow all our company rules and always aim to give top-notch customer service that exceeds our set goals. Part of my role also involves overseeing our Dispatch department, making sure everything is fair and stepping in whenever necessary, any time of the day or any day of the year. When it comes to team building, I identify when we need more people, hire them, and teach them the ropes. I keep a close watch on our income and expenses to ensure we're working as efficiently as possible and making a profit. If I notice anything that needs improvement, I put rules in place to fix it.I'm always on the lookout for new business opportunities and work hard to build and keep strong relationships with our agents and vendors. Part of this involves making sure we have agreements with our vendors and that we're ready to pay our bills. I always stay current with the rules set by various government agencies to make sure we're always in compliance. In addition to all this, I lend a hand to the Branch Manager and Regional Operations Director when they need it, and keep them in the loop about what's happening day-to-day.I'm totally committed to what TForce Logistics stands for and am always trying to help the company grow and succeed. At the same time, I'm always learning more about the logistics industry to improve my own skills and know-how.
