Responsiblity for coherence of the political approach to these countries across the EU institutions, maintaining bilateral relations under the Association Agreements, and implementing EEAS measures to support the political resolution of the Syria crisis. Representing the EU in meetings of Syria envoys and in engagement with all international actors involved (i.a. US, Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran, UAE, Lebanon, Egypt) as well as with the Syrian opposition and the authorities in Syria).
