Responsibilities include monitoring and scheduling preventive maintenance and repairs for UPS’s, battery strings, Panel Distribution Units, Switchgear (480 V) CRAC’s, Condensers, Exhaust Fans and Heat Pumps essential for supporting multiple server cabinets on the raised floor computer rooms. Work with Wintel and Wipro offshore teams providing remote hands assistance for Nestlé employees and contractors inside and outside the US to maintain server integrity with no unplanned outages. Install servers, power and network cabling. Assigned as project manager for the VESDA / ETL installation to facilitate cold isle containment curtain release. I was given the role as administrator to install and setup Maintenance Pro software for tracking equipment PM’s and repairs. Other responsibilities include managing vendors for PM’s and repairs on critical systems at the Phoenix DC.

After completing and passing a Federal background check I worked at the MCAS (Marine Corp Air Station) in Yuma, AZ installing and assisting with start up for new Alerton controls throughout the base. This position was responsible for providing building maintenance, preventative and corrective work to the facility. Activities included general fire alarm systems and performing weekly fire pump test, replacing patient TV’s as needed and assuring sufficient stock of repaired units were on hand, plumbing repairs (i.e. fixtures, supply and waste lines), repairs on electrical, medical gas outlets, nurse call, pneumatic tube system, elevators, furniture, fixtures and equipment. Worked with and assisted other trades in completing required tasks. Maintained, repaired, and corrected all building components as assigned. Provided first line of response to facility maintenance needs to assure maximum operational effectiveness of the facility. Provided all required and appropriate documentation upon task completion. Work with all other divisions and departments to meet the facility maintenance, installation and construction needs, as assigned. Facilities Management had a need for cabinet repair and installation. I assumed responsibility for resurrecting the carpenters shop, acquiring the proper tools and equipment needed, building the benches and saw tables to perform those tasks. I located suppliers for specific materials and hardware required for repairing and in some cases building replacement cabinets to then install at Banner Boswell and other Banner properties managed by the facilities department.

Mentoring of other less experienced Technicians, re-engineering control drawings and systems and customer training on System 600 new installations and up-grades.
