I am a magna cum laude graduate of Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Management. This major includes a concentration in Analytics and New Media. I also obtained a minor in Classical Civilization. I graduated from Lewis S. Mills High School in Connecticut in 2017. I have written and published two books that are currently on Amazon ("The Nightland Knights: Makeshift" and "The Nightland Knights: Fire-Branded"). I enjoy helping others, volunteering at and running in road races, fencing, and discussing medieval and classical history. I also like developing creative new ideas.

    For this internship, I worked alongside members of GATRA administration for a recently expanded rideshare service servicing all of Mansfield Massachusetts, and parts of Plainville, Massachusetts and Foxborough Massachusetts, including Patriots Place, known as GATRA On Demand (GATRA Go). I created email account for customer feedback through social media accounts for the service. I created and monitored social media accounts for the service in order to promote it through social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr. I linked the Gatra Go Facebook account to the pre-existing GATRA Microtransit Facebook page. I linked the email to all of these social media accounts to have customer responses and feedback in one location. I traveled to GATRA HQ in Taunton, Massachusetts for meetings with superiors. I conducted customer feedback interviews during ride-alongs, using the GATRA On Demand service. I traveled to local businesses in the area serviced by GATRA On Demand, met with their managers and employees, and provided them with brochures, flyers, and occasionally instructional cards, to expand knowledge of the service in person. This was an unpaid 160 - hour winter internship completed as of the middle of January, 2020 after starting it in the middle of December, 2019.

    This was a temporary position until the end of the public school year after I completed the Spring 2019 semester at college. This ranged in responsibilities depending on the size of the school groups that come to this camp. The age groups were primarily 6th grade. If it were a small group I would simply assist the teachers with their lectures and activities and help with planning and logistics during move-in for the students. When larger groups arrived, I taught my own section of a class with my own lecture and activity. One week this was designing a T-shirt, combining three different systems of the body and talking about cellular respiration. At other times, this would be teaching the students on how to use a compass, bearings, and coordinates during a geocaching activity. A third example was teaching the students about the food chain using a game they had at the camp known as "Whale Jenga", talking about how certain events and human interactions that can occur can effect a food chain. The second part of this was talking about bio-magnification and the effects and concentrations of toxins as it spreads up the food chain. These courses were difficult to organize and learn the content before presenting them in the short time-frames given. This was a very enriching and inspiring experience, however.
