Prior to Co-founding DP Energy, in 2008, Patrick J. D'Andrea was the Chief Executive Officer of R & D Exploration, Inc. R & D was founded in 1989 to drill and explore the Clinton and related formations in the Appalachian Basin. Through his business experience and contacts, Mr. D’Andrea has developed unique business opportunities in the Marcellus, Utica and Devonian shale plays in the Basin. He has represented numerous oil and gas E&P companies as an attorney. He has previously served as Development Director for Summit County, Ohio, and on Akron City Council from December 1979 to January 1989. Mr. D'Andrea holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Akron College of Law and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Akron. He has served on many committees in the public sector and has also served on many non-profit boards past and present.
