Write, design and coordinate the communications to professional providers and their respective colleges, associations and software vendors across Canada. This includes website content, email blasts, brochures, newsletters, bulletins, letters, posters and other communication collaterals using corporate standards. Communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that feedback is given and deadlines are met.SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS• Conceptualized and orchestrated all internal and external communications for several product launches and major system changes. Most recently, an online website where providers submit eClaims on behalf of their patients. Exceeded all objectives and met year 1 targets within only 3 months.• Ensured that a new pharmacy agreement was negotiated, delivered and returned by a set deadline for over 1200 pharmacies in BC and the Yukon. Result was 100% compliance.• Developed business targets and communications for expanding our network of providers into other provinces. This enabled Pacific Blue Cross the ability to market group sales with employees across Canada and increase revenue.

Promoted to manage the development and implementation of a provincial health billing program with enrollment of over 100,000+ Albertans. Developed a supporting contact centre and led a team of 12 direct reports.SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS• Collaborated on the development of a new accounts receivable program and performed software testing to ensure that all business requirements were met.• Wrote and designed a comprehensive training manual; identified departmental training needs and developed programs to increase employee skills. • Conducted interviews, hired and trained a new team of 10 Accounts Receivables Administrators and 2 Team Leaders resulting in a highly skilled team.• Fostered a positive team environment; promoted synergy through team building activities, mentoring and coaching and successfully launched the program meeting all targets within the first month.

Promoted to lead two separate teams of 20 claims assessors and 3 supervisors through strategic planning, participative leadership, measurable goal setting, coaching and mentoring. Managed claim processing for large government organizations including Canadian Forces, RCMP, and Veterans Affairs Canada. Managed claim processing for government sponsored programs and national group business.SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS• Improved relations with Federal clients and increased consistency on national standards between all Blue Cross offices across Canada. This resulted in a more competitive product and retained current national clients.• Managed a new eClaims project and staff which has spearheaded the future of claim submissions.• Managed 2 separate contact centres with 4 distinct queue lines and increased performance and call standards.
