One extensive example is the sale of an IBM Tivoli Monitoring infrastructure to the European Commission to manage their pan-European fiscal information exchange network. Cressida was a start-up of, initially, only ex-Candle employees. Furthermore he created marketing material and white papers, performed pre-sales and after-sales support. All this in close cooperation with the programmers of the tool. Later he conceived the products InQuest, SynQuest, and CeQuest. He was hired by both Candle and by IBM to perform pre-sales and consultancy tasks at their customer's sites. Designed and implemented a solution for a Belgian financial institution to monitor WebSphere MQ on Tandem and on OpenVMS. Performed several months of consultancy at another financial institution, where he designed their MQ backup and recovery procedures, taught dozens of programmers WebSphere MQ, implemented and customised Candle's MQ monitoring and configuration solutions, created a customised portal for it, and taught both the administrators and operators on how to use it.
