Key Responsibilities include but not limited to;• Lead professional team of Certification Service Representatives, welder testers, trainers, and contract workers.• Create and monitor schedules for the Ontario Region• Supervisor State of the Art Welding lab located in Milton• Accountable for budgets and targets• Customer interaction including but not limited to testing, technical questions, sales and conflict resolution.

Key responsibilities;• Ensuring maximum visibility• Provide leadership and direction for a plant of approximately 65 employees.• Accountable for plant safety as well as part of the Joint Health & Safety Committee• Liaison with department heads regarding forecasting, projects, product reviews, production capacity and availability.• Responsible for Budgets and Production targets

Responsibilities included;• Schedule all production employees.• Set up machinery, properly train employees to safely use all equipment.• Maintain and monitor inventory, purchase all consumables. • Fit and weld when necessary. Fabricate and machine components.• Develop and maintain a balance between production and the Q/C department.• Develop and maintain a balance between production and the Q/C department.• Process development ensuring maximum yield, minimum down time.• Schedule and perform maintenance on machinery after hours.• Aid in developing the prototyping of new products

• Organize and structure the Welding department in compliance with the CWB.• Ensure all welding consumables and gasses are in accordance and certified with the welding bureau.• Instruct and supervise all Fitters, Fabricators and Welders. Provide training relating to welding symbols, weld prep and sizes of welds.• Verify dimensional accuracy of all fit-ups prior to welding• Provide Welding Procedural Data Sheets for all weld sizes.(consult with welding engineer)

• Directly delegate and supervise shop floor employees.• Develop Quality Standards and documentation for the various processes.• Ensure all Welding was in compliance to CWB W47.1 and W59 Standards.• Dimensionally and aesthetically verify manufactured products in their various stages of completion.• Liaise between Engineering and purchasing in order to ensure a continuous flow of work to the shop floor as well as the procurement of raw materials for upcoming projects.

• Schedule and manage all aspects of production as well as maintenance.• Perform routine set ups and repairs.• Machine and Weld various Brush related components.• Delegate and instruct workload to the Shop floor as well as assist as needed.• Implement and demonstrate Quality Control Practices.• Requisition of raw materials.• Assume the role of Inside Sales and Order desk
