• Responsible for Marine Engineering training and advice in the Royal Naval Submarine School HMS Dolphin. Responsibilities included:
• Managing the training to maintainers on a Gas Management plant, Low- & High-Pressure Electrolyser, Mass Spectrometer, C02 scrubber, hover control system and the submarine autopilot.
• Lecturer on basic mechanical and submarine principles to all Submarine Officers prior to their first appointment.

HMS Trenchant

• Cat A Nuclear Watchkeeping and Nuclear Charge Qualification on HMS Trenchant a Trafalgar Class Nuclear Submarine. Responsibilities included:
• The operation, maintenance and support of all aspects of the submarine’s naval nuclear steam raising plant.
• Management of multiple engineering sections within the submarine.
• Maintenance and operation of the submarine’s propulsion and electrical generation machinery. I received a formal Commendation for the actions that I took to ensure the safety of the nuclear reactor plant and to prevent.

I conducted specialist submarine training covering the design, operation and theoretical aspects of systems and equipment fitted to current class submarines.
