Hms Trenchant

Cat A Nuclear Watchkeeping and Nuclear Charge Qualification on HMS Trenchant a Trafalgar Class Nuclear Submarine. Responsibilities included:• The operation, maintenance and support of all aspects of the submarine’s naval nuclear steam raising plant.• Management of multiple engineering sections within the submarine.• Maintenance and operation of the submarine’s propulsion and electrical generation machinery. I received a formal Commendation for the actions that I took to ensure the safety of the nuclear reactor plant and to prevent a possible significant issue whilst on deployment.
