As a Formulation Scientist at Randox Clinical Laboratory Services (RCLS), I apply my expertise in environmental science and soil sampling to develop and optimize novel assays for various applications. I work with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and technicians to ensure the quality and reliability of our products and services.I have a strong academic background in biology, having completed my Master's degree at Queen's University Belfast with a focus on ecological management and conservation biology. My dissertation investigated the effects of habitat and time on soil micro-arthropods, which are important indicators of soil quality. I also gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant at the same university, where I extracted and identified soil micro-arthropods and nematodes for the NERC Soil Security Program. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to address environmental challenges and contribute to scientific innovation.
