Managed, designed, constructed, and maintained all NPI process and R&D facilities at Fall River, MA; Shanghai, China, Salamanca, Mexico, and Delta British Columbia Canada.

Provided facilities technical support and R & D support specific to the development and application of Room Temperature Superconductors. Maintained and repaired all applicable electromechanical machinery associated with the process, tested equipment and instrumentation as well as tested the superconductors for Meissner effect and conductance. Responsible for developing test methods to determine if copper can feasibly be transformed into a room temperature superconductor. Utilized function Generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes and spiced based software.

Brought in as a contractor to oversee Y2K program for Bayer subsidiary (H.C. Stark). Retrofitted or updated any system found to be non-Y2K compliant. Developed database of all software and hardware systems associated with every phase of plant and administrative operation, developed contingency and action plan for updating/replacing with Y2K tolerant firmware and software systems.

Provided R & D support specific to development and application of catalytic reactor sensors. Recognized as primary technological resource in-house to service induction heating power supplies up to 15 kHz. Designed, serviced and setup PLC’s and all types of discrete sensors including temperature, flow, mass, level and proximity sensors.

Provided engineering services, specifications, selection, and startup of all varieties of instrumentation to Globe Mfg. Fall River, Mass., as well as provided services to Providence Metalizing in Pawtucket RI. Served as Project Superintendent and Startup Engineer for Boston Gas Pilot Co-gen facility in West Roxbury, MA. Worked on electrical switchgear and steam and gas turbine systems from 4kV to 13kV.
