Performs CI Operations staff officer support duties to include policy, doctrine, foreign intelligence service threat assessments, evaluation of CI Operations concept of operations (CONOPS), vulnerability assessments, and other planning, staffing. Coordinates/synchronizes a broad range of CI Operations activities to include evaluates and provides insightful analysis into CI Operations plans and activities in support of Combatant Commands, Agencies, and other special customers. Conducts special collection activities using specialized equipment and techniques to counter threats to sensitive US technologies, programs, activities and facilities. Plans and executes counter-surveillance and detection operations; provides unique, cutting-edge biometric collection capability. May independently develop initiatives to enhance the analysis and analytical support provided to CI Operational capabilities.

Counterintelligence Analyst for the Counterintelligence and Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Analysis and Requirements Cell (CHARC) at CI/HUMINT Analytical Support Element - Afghanistan (CHASE-A) [formerly CIAC-A] in support of overseas contingency operations, specifically supporting special operation forces asset validation. Apply operational and strategic concepts in a manner that effectively ensures the security and continued viability of military source operations (MSO) and military counterintelligence collection (MCC) activities. Research, exploit, assess, develop, summarize, and present intelligence products at the operational and strategic levels for senior leaders in unconventional and conventional units alike. These products provide exceptional fidelity to customers throughout the intelligence community, while protecting the tactics, techniques, and procedures, as well as the lives of our Coalition collectors under the constant threat of insurgent attack.
