• Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Processes purchase requisitions received from technical and deck officers on board or vessel technical superintendents and fulfills them by established contracts or competitive bidding process.
• Processes purchase orders and sends proper documentation to the company vessels in adequate time for storing dates.
• Utilizes strategic sourcing practices to realize maximum savings and efficiencies in the supply chain process.
• Negotiate cost reductions on individual Purchase Orders to maximize allocated funds and ensure operational excellence of the vessels.
• lnvestigates and resolves discrepancies on each storing and secures credits, when appropriate, in coordination with supply base and vessel staff.

• Providing a flawless support of all vessel requirements and perform other job functions related to it including cost management for materials and freight.
• Advice vessels on replenishment schedules
• Prompt sending of inquiries, preparing quotations and placing orders (PO)
• Ensures timely and economical supply of spare parts and stores
• Monitor vessel rotation coordinate with forwarders and agents for timely delivery of orders.

• In charge of the monitoring and process of vesselrequests, tenders, purchase orders, warehouse transfers and invoices for one or more vessels according to their loading schedule

• Look for alternative sources if needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of all ordersprocessed
• Communicate with affected parties regarding anyissues with pre-load and post-load deliveries, and ensure up-to-date purchasing system
