CurrentMy role is classed as a people leader role while also remaining technical to help out when and where its requiredWithin this role I currently look after and manage the Platforms team which consists of 2 teams merging together formally known as the Wintel & the Unix/Linux teams, this consists of people management & resource management for BAU and project work assignment while helping deliver work and budget cost recovery.These team manages multiple environments across multiple… Show more My role is classed as a people leader role while also remaining technical to help out when and where its requiredWithin this role I currently look after and manage the Platforms team which consists of 2 teams merging together formally known as the Wintel & the Unix/Linux teams, this consists of people management & resource management for BAU and project work assignment while helping deliver work and budget cost recovery.These team manages multiple environments across multiple technology stacks including Cloud, IT & OT environments and I am additionally required to help manage large license agreements within the space and ensure we are compliant in all aspects of our areaSome of the main technologies covered by the teams are;RedHat, Windows, VMware, Server Hardware, Storage, Veeam Backups, AWS Cloud, Azure & O365 administration, Active Directory, RDSAdditionally I have continued to be involved in technical work, using my skills & knowledge within the team for VMware, its related products and other technologies having a broad range of knowledge and understanding of the environment to ensure I help train, guide and deliver large scale projects where I help discuss, architect, design and plan requirements for my team and the company while I assist my techs with implementation of the solutions as required.
