Senior Finishing Engineer
My primary job responsibilities were to provide engineering support to the operation of manual and automated industrial coating systems, including;* design and quality of coating materials for metal, plastic, wood and composites* design and build / procure coating application process equipment - pretreatment and cleaning systems - drying equipment (where applicable) - coating equipment : conventional spray (liquid), electrostatic spray (liquid and powder), roll coating, manual and automatic, e-coat, autophoretic, curtain coating, etc. - curing equipment : IR, conventional forced air, UV - conveyor systems* develop performance specifications and test methods used in the evaluation of coating materials and processes.* process troubleshooting and problem resolution related to industrial coating systems.
