I began my career in higher education in July of 2014 as an office associate at Western Kentucky University. In that role, I provided administrative support to the WKU office of Continuing and Professional Development. I also designed and implemented a revenue and expense tracking system that enabled our unit to operate efficiently in spite of budget challenges. This work earned me a promotion the Online Program Development data specialist. In an effort to further improve one of the premier online education units in the country, WKU Online Program Development leadership created this position whose primary function would be to collect and analyze large data sets and make recommendations to leaders within the unit based on that data in order to improve the service provided to students. In January of 2020, I began my employment with University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) as professional development director supporting the development of online professional development opportunities for professional, continuing, and online education leaders.
