Hello,A bit about me.I've always been curious, wanting to know why and how.I have real joy in helping others and always find great satisfaction in empowering other people. I've had a interest in computing from a early age (13) and developed useful problem solving skills.Programming my first computer - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jupiter_AceMy first jobs were in sales, working as a Canvass manager and then Insurance sales.Both roles were direct and taught me the importance of goals, time management and empathy, being the key to effective communication.Team work has always been central to my productivity and contentment in the work place.In 1997 I took the keys to a pub without any experience.Without the support of my team and customers, its doubtful whether I would have achieved my goals. Twice I've been employed on a trial basis, having no direct experience in either role.I used transferable skills to exceed expectations and produce great work.In 2013 I took on the responsibility of my Fathers care. With the goal of giving dad the best care and a good death.Caring for over 3 years was probably the hardest task I've ever done but, rewarding.After Frank died, in his sleep. I sought space, which I found with travelling.Greece was my first thought when looking to centre myself, the beautiful Ionian Islands of Cephalonia and Zakynthos were a treat and I really enjoyed the food and engaging with new people.In 2018 I walked the Camino de Santiago, visiting new places and meeting a range of people who inspired me along the way.I'm currently waiting for some Operations (hips).My first full hip replacement (FHR) operation was on the 22/08/2024.
