Planned, executed, and assessed all aspects of daily operations, training, maintenance, logistics, and personnel management for a crew of 150 Sailors and with an operating budget of $3M. Recognized for superior leadership and team building skills that proactively retained the best personnel and yielded exceptional results. Ranked the #1 of 6 Executive Officers in the Submarine Squadron.

Pearl Harbor

Trained and mentored six submarine Engineer Officers and provided immediate oversight on the operations and maintenance of five submarine nuclear reactors, propulsion, and electrical distribution systems. Provided direct assistance in auditing records, inspecting equipment, and monitoring operations, contributing feedback and recommendations that facilitated continuous process improvement. Relieved as Engineer Officer on USS Cheyenne for four months following a series of problems that caused the ship's Engineer Officer to be dismissed, and turned around the struggling department

Pearl Harbor

Planned and executed operations and maintenance of the ship's nuclear reactor, propulsion, and electrical distribution systems. Trained and supervised 55 nuclear-trained operators. Additional duties included serving as the Senior Watch Officer, establishing and enforcing watch standing standards throughout the ship and its 145 personnel. Stood watch as the ship's senior Officer of the Deck.
