African Caribbean Engagement (Ace) Cricket Development Officer (Ace Programme)
Current• Management, coaching, and development duties engaging young people from diverse communities, but predominantly within the African Caribbean British communities, inspiring them to become active members of the cricketing community.• Helping to drive cricket through promoting positive racial diversity, equality and inclusion.• Assisting in the provision of cricket participation and talent pathways for young players of African Caribbean heritage. • Working with a range of community groups/organisations, schools, colleges, universities, clubs, youth clubs and charity organisations to create playing opportunities to help identify the next generation of budding cricketers or professional cricketers alongside increasing cricket interest and participation.• Providing elite academy programmes and scholarships for talented players to help them fulfil their potential.• Supporting the development of coaches, community volunteers and provide mentoring to support players, coaches, and families.
