As IT Solutions Leader was responsible for, over 60%, of the overall IT Organisation and Budget. A key member of the IT Senior Leadership Team, specific responsibilities included;- Orchestrated design, delivery and maintenance of all change activities for AXA Partners CLP business applications, approximately 40 products, over their entire lifecycle.- Full accountability for solution delivery across an €18M annual investment budget.- Directed all of our technology and architecture teams (120 + resources in multipleglobal locations), through the delivery ofn a large scale multi-year Integration Programme across people, process and technology.- Delivered best in class IT Security through a strong controllership framework, application management governance and security by design. Best in class IT Security levels were attained as part of this effort, a fact widely recognised within AXA Partners as a whole.- Optimised the sustainability and the cost efficiency of our technology products with the primary target of delivering business value. Defining technology and product roadmaps, and building effective business cases in support of roadmap implementation were key to this.- Supervised the AXA Partners CLP Technology Architecture function, ensuring strong design governance and driving technology-led innovation.- Partnered with the business in the definition and delivery of the overall product vision and roadmap, and also in creating buy-in for the product vision and roadmap both internally and with key external partners.- Manage multiple technical teams across Core Insurance, Data, Digital, BPM/Workflow andArchitecture domains.

- Produced and implemented technology roadmaps in support of the business strategy.- Introduced a strong Architecture Governance Framework using the TOGAF methodology.- Delivered multiple initiatives including payment solutions, data management solutionsand API implementations in support of business investment decisions.- Established strong partnerships with AXA France Architecture teams in devising anddelivering on an Integration Roadmap to facilitate the merging of the Genworth LifestyleProtection and AXA Creditor business entities to become AXA Partners CLP. This was a multi-year,complex programme of work.- Performed CISO Role as part of managing the IT Security function for the business, building astrong IT Security culture within the organisation across People, Process and Technology.- Supplier Management; assess, select and manage key suppliers in support of the technologyroadmap.- Provided Technical awareness sessions and coaching to other IT teams.- Directed the the Business Analysis function across the organisation.

During 2011 Genworth Financial setup a separate business entity whose focus was to increase businessgrowth through Digital Marketing Solutions this role was to act as the 'mini CIO' of this entity;- Oversaw and held full accountability of all Digital products throughout the entire life cycle, including user needs, communication, finance, build, transition, operations, support,security, continual improvement and decommissioning.- Maximised service delivery excellence and adherence to governance and controllership.- Enhanced sustainability and cost efficiency of our Digital Products with primary focus on delivering business value.- Partnered with business product managers in the definition and delivery of product roadmap.- Built a trusted relationship with key business stakeholders as the key IT contact point forthe Digital domain. Working in partnership to set and achieve product goals, assisting in backlogprioritisation, and influencing IT strategy in support of the overall product strategy.- Initiated a monitor and control strategy for product delivery teams through implementation of a transparent product catalog with associated unit costs, SLAs and KPIs.

Work within the Business Transformation team to:- Managed the delivery of major investment programmes across first Infrastructure andsubsequently Application domains. Implementing an ECM system, and managing a complex DataCentre migration were particular highlights.- Liaised with senior managers to define needs, negotiate resources and manage expectations.- Lead tendering processes for software and hardware services.- Managed the budgets, staff and resources for relevant programmes.- Created the Service Management Framework for implemented solutions.

Working within the Operations business function, this role was focused on;- Running process improvement projects primarily relating to Claims and Premium Processing.- Coaching and mentoring on the usage of Six Sigma practises and methodologies.
