The Ropeway Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance to all Conveyance System components. Also assists in troubleshooting and resolving operational disturbances. The Ropeway Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance. The Ropeway Maintenance Technician reports to the Shift Lead and/or the Assistant O&M Manager assigned to oversee their respective shift. Performs daily preventive and corrective maintenance on all possible components in compliance with manuals and in accordance with the maintenance schedule, training and/or prescribed procedure. Supports the daily upkeep of the system and maintenance facilities.Provides break relief to the Ropeway Operating Technician a requested by Management. Supports response to and resolution of operational disturbances and emergencies in compliance with training and/or prescribed procedures. Troubleshoots/diagnoses mechanical/electrical problems and repair or replace mechanical/electrical components as necessary. Completes accurate maintenance logs in a timely manner. Follows all Company-issued maintenance procedures and directives to ensure that all preventative and corrective maintenance are performed safely and in compliance with manufacturers' specifications and applicable industry standards.As a Rule Book Trainer: Trains on the ability to use, interpret and communicate and train thestanding operation procedures agreed upon by DCC and the client.
