  I began in IT as a Field Engineer in January, 1993 and worked exclusively with restaurant POS systems. Since that time I have been a trusted Field Engineer / Technician and was promoted in a far shorter time than is customary to a Senior Field Engineer / Technician as I had exhibited strong skills in servicing our clients with little or no supervision and was able to resolve highly sensitive situations where our clients had chronic issues with their POS system and effectively communicate the resolutions to both the client and my company Management. I was then promoted to a Group Leader in 2003 and have led a group of 15 or more Field Engineers over a one to three state area since that time. I not only work as an Engineer but am trusted to lead teams of Field technicians / Installers on highly visible hardware and software upgrades utilizing both company Technicians and Independent Contractors. I train them entirely, ensure that they perform at a high level, and report to both my company management as well as the client. I continually train the Field Technicians that I am charged with supervising in an effort to keep them very skilled, informed, prepared, proficient representatives of the company through one on one assistance in the field and as a group in conference calls. In addition to quick serve restaurant POS Systems, I also install and repair order displays (These show food orders in a restaurant Drive Thru), Drive Thru Timing systems, and Drive Thru Headset Systems which includes the vehicle detectors and the Drive Thru loop concrete cut and wire installation and the sealing of it.
