My clients also include borrowers, lenders, traditional and renewable energy companies and well-known consumer brands. Over the past seven years, my practice has focused on acquisitions, dispositions and leasing, including large-scale design and build development leases and financing transactions that involve real property security.My business background enables me to connect with my clients as both a trusted legal advisor and an entrepreneurial sounding board, and to find tailored solutions that make sense in the context of their business and strategic priorities. I have benefited from great mentorship throughout my career and value the time I spend serving as a mentor for junior associates and articling and summer students in the Commercial Real Estate group at Blakes.In my spare time, I play a fiercely mediocre round of golf and enjoy rearranging my Zoom background in my home office.
