Introduced CADS-RC to the Carl Bro Leeds OfficeWater Retaining StructuresManager and co-ordinator of a team of experienced technicians responsible for the production of reinforced concrete detailed drawings for various water retaining structures for the Carl Bro Water Department. Duties also include ensuring drawings are produced under budget and within deadline restraints. All RC drawings produced by myself were prepared using the CADS-RC detailing software.Dublin Port Tunnel – Southern Operations Building.Solely responsible for preparing the reinforced concrete details for the above building which is buried and constructed from concrete in its entirety

Introduced CADS-RC to Curtins Leeds office.Duties include managing the office Cad system and overseeing and checking drawing production by junior members of staff.Responsible for the production of the General arrangement and RC details drawings of all the major projects carried out in the Leeds office which included two mental health hospitals constructed in Load Bearing Masonry and a seven story apartment block constructed in both concrete and steel.

Introduced CADS-RC to Fairhurst Leeds office. Responsible for over 90% of the R.C. Detailing work carried out by the W.A. Fairhurst Leeds office. On numerous occasions I was asked to carry out work for other Fairhurst offices.Tesco Superstore – Forest Fach SwanseaPreparation of all the structural drawings for the above project including Concrete G.A.’s, Steelwork G.A.’s and all the RC detailing work which includes 200m of retaining walls of varying complexity. Tesco Superstore - Central Park Wigan Preparation of General arrangement and R.C. drawings for the Enabling works for the above project, which included a new concrete access road bridge, a concrete pedestrian footbridge, a flood compensation moat and a pedestrian footbridge. BP Grangemouth Responsible for the production of over 50 general arrangement and R.C. detail drawings for a new chemical plant for BP at Grangemouth in Scotland. Work carried out for W.A. Fairhurst Edinburgh office.

15.5 Million M621/M1 Link Road contract in Leeds. Site supervision in accordance with the ICE Conditions of Contract. Responsible for roadwork’s, drainage and several structures including 400m of cantilever retaining walls and a 200m long reinforced concrete water retaining structure to carry a sliproad which will be below the permanent water table.

Kwai Chung Viaduct Hong Kong. On Site CAD/Technician/Detailer during construction of £250 million Kwai Chung Viaduct which is a 3km long elevated highway with adjacent railway bridges and approach ramps. Sole Technician responsible for preparing and detailing the sub-structure drawings in line with the contractors requirements

Introduced CADS-RC to Gifford York office. Responsible for setting up and managing the office CAD system.Preparation of general arrangement and detail drawings on the following major projects:Leeds General Infirmary Redevelopment £40m new 7 storey hospital on congested city centre site. One corner of the building spans the A64 Inner Ring Road. Includes 400 metres of retaining walls and a 6 metre deep transfer beam which spans 32 metres, a concrete frame structure which started on site October 1993 and opened in 1997.Clerical Statistics Office, Cork, Ireland Preparation of tendon layouts and RC details of 10 post tensioned flat slabs for specialist pre-stressing contractor.£32M New Factory for British American Tobacco, Southampton Preparation of tendon layouts and RC retails of main factory post tensioned ground bearing floor slabs and associated warehouse post tensioned suspended ground slab.
