Pat Harkins is a Senior Vice President within Bank of America for the past 29 years. He is the Group Operations Manager for Consumer Vehicle Lending within Collections Services. In his role he has overall responsibility for the performance and quality of 17 CVLC Vendors, which services consist of Repossession, Auction, Broker, Title, Software, Accounting, Insurance and Printing Vendors. Maintaining strong vendor partnerships to ensure vendors remain in compliance and meets BOA overall expectations. Pat joined MBNA in January 1995 as a Customer Assistance Representative collecting stages from 30 day to 150 day. He then moved on to credit acquisition in 1996 to obtain his lending authority and worked within the credit line increase unit. He was promoted to a Team Leader in Consumer Finance Customer Assistance in 1997 where he managed through all stages of delinquency. From 2000 to 2003, Pat began to manage the Business Lending correspondence, MACS and Billing Dispute units. From 2003 until 2008, Pat went back to Business Lending Collections, in which he was responsible for the Charge off unit. In 2008, Pat moved over to manage a Credit RDU team for two months, before moving over to the Credit Correspondence Unit, which he was a Team Leader. In September 2010, Pat was hired to join the Defense Matters Unit, in which his responsibilities were for the incoming counterclaims from the Legal Partners and to serve as a Witness for any bank initiated litigations, counterclaims and direct suits. Pat completed a total of 50 cases as a witness for Bank of America. On March 1, 2012, Pat became an Operations Project Manager in Debt Management, which was a preferred renegotiated payment option and worked closely with our Unsecured Collection areas, Credit and Outsourcing vendors to ensure non-profit credit counseling is seen as the first option for eligible customers. In 2016. Pat managed 1st and 3rd Party Collections Vendors on the recoveries of credit card and HELOC Mortgages. Pat was selected as “Manager of the Year” in 1999, 2000 and 2001. He was also awarded the “Precept Award” in 2002. In 2021, Pat was awarded the Bank of America Valiant Award. Pat graduated from Wesley College in 1993, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
